NOTES
I am not perfectly sure about the track list of the EP version. I have only seen an image of side 1 of the second disc (B-362-3), which contained the tracks ‘My Love Is Like A Red, Red Rose’, and ‘Green Grow The Rushes, O’.
The first reviews of this album appeared in newspapers during March, 1954 (the earliest review I found was published in the March 13, 1954 issue of the Chicago Tribune). An article in The Los Angeles Time, published on January 23, says that ‘guest Jo Stafford will introduce songs from her new album, “My Heart’s in the Highlands”,’ in Johnny Mercer’s KNX radio program “tomorrow, 3 p.m.’. Combining these facts leads to the conclusion the album must have been issued between (late) January and (early) March, 1954.
