NOTES

In Cashbox magazine’s November 3, 1956 issue, ‘Ski Trails’ was named as one of the ‘November Album Releases’.
This proves that the album was issued in November, 1956.
‘Winter Song’ is also known under the name ‘Hanover Winter Song’ (it was written in 1898 for inclusion in a songbook for Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire).
On modern (digital) re-issues of ‘Ski Trails’, the fifth track on side 1 is – instead of ‘Winter Song’ – ‘Winter Weather’ (Matrix No. RHCO 33411). Corinthian Records did not own the rights on 'Winter Song' when they re-issued the album in the 1970’s, that explains why they substituted the original fifth track with a song from the 1955 album ‘Happy Holiday’.
