NOTES

This V-Disc’s label suggests that ‘Jo Stafford and the Pied Pipers’ join together on both of the B-side’s tracks, but that’s not the case. ‘Alone Together’ is a Jo Stafford solo, while ‘When The Red Red Robin…’ is performed by the Pied Pipers (featuring June Hutton).

According to the Discography for CD B in the JSP CD Box ‘Jo Stafford – 108 Classic Sides from a great American hitmaker’, ‘Alone Together’ was ‘recorded at rehearsals for Johnny Mercer’s Music Shop’. Actually, the name of this radio program was ‘The Chesterfield Music Shop’. ‘Johnny Mercer’s Music Shop’ was the name of the program when it was rebroadcast by the American Forces Radio Service (source: www.radiogoldindex.com).
