In Billboard magazine’s January 2, 1971 issue, this LP is listed under the heading ‘New Album Releases For January’. That’s why I think it was officially released in January, 1971.
Billboard’s review of the album, published two weeks later, said: ‘This is a unique disk: original hymns composed by Paul Weston and performed by Jo Stafford (Mrs. Paul Weston). Both artist and composer have a long list of credits in the general pop field and they bring to this new venture much artistry’.
From the scarce information I have about this album, it does not become clear whether it was recorded in mono or in stereo.
