It would be interesting to know why none of the recorded tracks were issued in the US. Do you know why? Then please contact me at info@jostafford-discography.com

Note
Both duets with British singer Teddy Johnson were recorded in a revolutionary way. Cash Box magazine explains (Cash Box, January 19, 1952): ‘Jo Stafford (…) has recorded a unique trans-Atlantic disc-duet with Teddy Johnson, one of England’s top pop vocal stars. The idea was conceived by Mike Nidorf, Jo’s personal manager. First move in this 6,000 mile-apart singing stunt was left to Teddy Johnson at the Abbey Road Studios of Columbia Records in England. Johnson chose a British song, “The Moment I Saw You” and recorded his end on tape with Norrie Paramor’s Orchestra, using a duet arrangement concocted by Paramor. The tape was flown to Hollywood where Jo added her part. Miss Stafford chose “There’s A Small Hotel” for the reverse side of the disc and recorded her end using an arrangement by Paul Weston, Columbia’s West Coast Musical Director. This tape was flown to England where Johnson added his voice.’
